Margaret Orchard set up her own independent recruitment company in Gloucester in 1998 as a limited company within central Gloucester servicing recruitment needs of local companies with Temporary, Permanent, Temporary to Permanent and Contract solutions. Since this date forward Margaret Orchard Recruitment has remained one of the most successful commercial independent agencies in the area offering a one to one personal service.
The company has grown substantially since set-up through the hard work, dedication and professionalism of its management and staff. The company aim is to supply both Candidates and Clients with a highly personalised, quality service, ensuring both parties needs are matched resulting in the perfect job match!

Margaret Orchard - Managing Director
Formed the company in September 1998 having a professional, hands-on and honest approach with the business. Previous to founding the company, Margaret worked for over 10 years with a multi-national agency handling Permanent, Temporary and Contract staff in both Commercial (including Financial Services and Sales), Industrial and Technical sectors.
Margaret puts the success of her company down to having an experienced team of recruiters, understanding client’s needs and honesty with clients and candidates alike.
Rachel Wilson – Recruitment Manager, Temporary Division
Rachel Joined Margaret Orchard Recruitment (MOR) in April 2004 after 5 years working within the Financial Services sector which has been really beneficial for clients and candidates alike. She gained the Foundation Award in Recruitment Practice from the industry’s professional body the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) and has proved to be a highly reliable and valuable individual committed to providing a professional service.
Promoted in 2008 to Recruitment Manager, Rachel handles both Temporary and Key accounts. Rachel says "Recruitment is a lot of fun and very fast moving – every day is different. You can progress quickly if you have the right attitude and are prepared to work hard."
Hannah Matthews
Hannah Matthews joined MOR as a Recruitment Administrator during her gap year handling Reception, meeting and greeting and assisting Rachel with the Temporary administration and payroll. Hannah’s commitment and bright and bubbly personality helped her to quickly become a vital member of the team.
We are delighted Hannah is assisting us during her holidays whilst studying History at the University of Southampton.
Carole McClelland - Recruitment Consultant
We are delighted to welcome Carole back to MOR! Carole previously worked for us during 2005/2006 as our Administrator and left for pastures new with a multi-national recruitment company where she gained invaluable experience as a Consultant handling both temporary and permanent vacancies. Now back in the fold, Carole is working on a part time/job share basis alongside Margaret and her normal working week is Monday to Wednesday, plus full-time hours to cover the rest of the team during holidays.
Sian Matthews - Branch Administrator
Sian Matthews joined us in June 2010 and is handling the day to day administration/payroll processing and reception duties. This is Sian's first job after leaving school and she is really enjoying the role and progressing well in this busy environment.
